I positively love my Fujitsu T4020. You pay a premium for tablets, but you also get tablet functionality and some of the toughest non-ruggedized notebooks in the market. The docking stations also tend to be better on average, IMHO.
The lack of an optical drive wouldn't bother me much. These days, everything I need gets ripped to disc anyways, and most tablets will lock the optical drive from operating while in tablet mode.
