I prefer one of the earlier revisons they did on it, with a 1Ghz Pentium M, 1.28GB of ram and an 80GB HDD, those A110 processors are to slow, especialy with Vista, and battery life is fine imo, 2-1/2-3 hours is what I get on my R2H (the 900Mhz Celeron one), more than enough for what I use it for.
